Large volumes of and vast areas occupied by technogenic deposits permitted distinguishing them as an individual geological formation. The general tendency consists in the intense spreading of the technogenic formation due to the confluence of numerous growing technogenic bodies. In future, this formation may be spreading continuously within an area of tens and hundreds thousands sq. Km. The developed Earth’s bowels add to this formation. This formation is characterized by the presence of human-made materials, technogenic melange, and specific types of sedimentation associated with a variety of means and methods of deposit transportation. The influence of technogenic deposits on the ecology of urbanized and industrial territories is rising. The location of the centers of technogenic formation is determined both by geological-geomorphological and socio-economic factors. The age of the technogenic stage in the Earth’s history dates back to 200–250 years ago, when the technogenic deposits accumulation was intensified.
