In 1950–1980s, some ravines and slopes in the territory of Kolomenskoye site were contaminated with waste materials from various factories. The article discusses the geoecological risks associated with the development of man-induced geological processes on the contaminated site and approaches to territory rehabilitation. One of the methods to the territory rehabilitation involves a repository, following a French experience in the Manche department, where at creating a burial site they encountered similar geological conditions. Creation of covering screens based on bentomates, sorption filtration and low filtration injection barriers, development of funnel and gate systems is able to provide high ecological reliability. When deciding the on-site disposal of radioactive waste, a multi-year monitoring system must be created.
